Gillian Lee MBBS, CCFP

Dr. Gillian Lee graduated from King’s College London School of Medicine in 2013 and completed her General Practice training in London in 2019. She moved to Canada in 2021, working at Waterford Hospital in St. John’s, Newfoundland and Labrador, where she provided inpatient medical care and conducted acute psychiatric assessments.

Dr. Lee relocated to Vancouver in 2022 and has since been practising as a family physician. She is committed to providing thoughtful, comprehensive, and patient-centred care to individuals and families.

Sophia Lee MD, CCFP

Dr. Sophia Lee attended UBC for her medical degree and completed her residency training in Manitoba with a focus on complex chronic care. She has a full-spectrum family practice with an interest in medical dermatology, accepting referrals for concerns including as acne, eczema, psoriasis, hair disorders, skin biopsies and others.

When she is not working, she enjoys travelling, hiking, baking, gardening and spending time with her family.

Vivian Liu. MD, CCFP

Dr. Liu received her family medicine training at the University of Minnesota. 

She has special interests in contraceptive care, lifestyle medicine, and gender affirming care (including menopausal hormone therapy). Outside of work she enjoys running, cycling, and woodworking.

She is thankful for the opportunity to follow all of these pursuits on the traditional and unceded territories of the xʷməθkʷəy̓əm (Musqueam), Sḵwx̱wú7mesh (Squamish), and Sel̓íl̓witulh (Tsleil-Waututh) Nations.

Shamira Lowton MBBCh, CCFP

Dr. Shamira Lowton earned her medical degree from the University of the Witwatersrand in Johannesburg, South Africa, in 2003. Her medical experience has included rural medicine in South Africa, as well as work as an Emergency Medicine Registrar at Letterkenny Hospital and later as a Psychiatry Registrar in Dublin, Ireland.

She subsequently moved to Canada, where she spent a decade practising in rural Alberta and Saskatchewan, providing comprehensive family medicine across community, hospital, long-term care and emergency settings. She has also enjoyed teaching and mentoring medical students to support and inspire the next generation.

Drawing on her broad experience across different areas of medicine, Dr. Lowton has developed a particular passion for the care of older adults. Now based in Vancouver, her practice is primarily focused on supporting seniors in maintaining their health, independence and quality of life. She considers it a privilege to care for older adults and their families, with an approach founded on compassion, dignity, trust and respect.

Rozita Sabet Rasekh MD, CCFP

Dr. Rozita Sabet Rasekh is a family physician with a passion for providing comprehensive, evidence-based care to individuals and families across all stages of life, from newborns and children to adults and seniors. She completed her undergraduate studies at the University of British Columbia, earned her medical degree from Saba University School of Medicine, and completed her Family Medicine residency at Guthrie Robert Packer Hospital in Pennsylvania. She is board certified in both Canada and the United States.

Her clinical interests include family and pediatric care, women’s health, mental health, weight management, geriatrics, and chronic disease management. She places a strong emphasis on preventive care and continuity of care, and values building long-term relationships with patients and families. Her approach is collaborative and practical, helping patients understand their health, make informed decisions, and develop care plans that reflect their individual needs and goals.
